 Gold coin for Geoff

Gold coin for Geoff

3/09/2008 12:42:00 PM
Mt Bryan Country Fire Service volunteer Geoff Buryn was injured in a truck accident while on call and is now in a wheelchair.

His CFS mates and local community are supporting him through fundraising, and $500 was raised from a recent Statewide event - a “Gold Coin for Geoff”.

The Burra and District CFS group donated $1000 and with help from CFS and MFS brigades Statewide raised $20,000 to go towards much needed technology to help Geoff.

“The Burra and District CFS Group would like to thank the community for their kind support to help our friend in CFS, Geoff Buyrn,” Ian Kleinig said.
