A collaborative project between the Superstars Adventurers and Jingles Shed and Community Garden members has seen some wonderful changes at the Riverton garden.
The Superstars Adventurers social club for young people living with a disability is facilitated by Lower North Health.
Jingles volunteers built a stone entrance to the garden using local stone “scavenged” from the area, with the entry statement created in colourful tiles and mosaics by the Superstars under the expert direction of Rozzi Batten.
Students kept journals of their designs and the progress of their work which helped them develop their creations
Superstars were also involved in transforming an old Holden ute into a work of art and garden planter with the help of artists Marcus Possingham and Peter Hart.
Jingles Garden is a popular community space which involves retirees, school students, Superstars and other members of the community.
