A1: Min/Man 60 d Blyth/Snowtown 47. Even first quarter with both teams finishing off well. Min/Man stepped up in the second quarter and out classed Blyth/Snowtown. Min/Man's Laura Ross (in her 200th game) made it difficult for BS to get it through the centre court. Min/Man fought hard and came out with a convincing win.
A2: Min/Man 64 d Blyth/Snowtown 48. Min/Man started off well. Goalies shot well all game for Min/Man. Blyth/Snowtown made changes at half time to win the third quarter by 4. The second half was very even game with strong contests all down the court.
B1: Blyth/Snowtown 48 drew Min/Man 48. Game started with both teams missing their first shots of goal with all defences applying strong pressure. Blyth/Snowtown shooters, Nicola Andriske and Stacey Mugge settled and shot accurately. Min/Man came out in the second quarter shooting the first 6 goals. The third and fourth quarter saw both teams shooting goal for goal with Min/Man taking advantage of pressure they applied in the defensive end.
B2: Blyth/Snowtown 37 d Min/Man 23. Blyth/ Snowtown started strongly with great hard leading to the ball and being able to finish off well with accurate shooting by Rahni Stephens and Kelsey Hitch. Min/Man played well in the second quarter with many turnovers by Maddy Jacka and Emily Noble. BS settled in the second half with great defence in the goal ring by Briony Dyk and Fiona Gray and were able to stretch their lead.
C1: Min/Man 60 d Blyth/Snowtown 43. Min/Man started well taking the lead early in the game. Min/Man goalies Ashlee Aworth and Angela Hogben shot accurately throughout the game. Blyth/Snowtown kept trying all game and never gave up but Min/Man were too strong.
C2: Min/Man 52 d Blyth/Snowtown 49. Min/Man started the game with accurate shooting but Blyth/Snowtown's teamwork kept them in touch. The second quarter saw Blyth/Snowtown 's defence create more opportunities for their goalies and they led by 3 goals at half time. Min/Man made team changes in the third quarter that created a stronger combination in the goal circle and an intense fight for the lead followed. The last quarter was goal for goal until Jodie Allen's accurate shooting gave Min/Man the edge. A great game.
15 & UNDER: Min/Man 42 d Blyth/Snowtown 39. A fantastic game played by Blyth/Snowtown. Min/Man fought hard to get in front at three quarter time and kept the lead to the finish, getting them over the line by 3.
J1: Min/Man 37 d Blyth/Snowtown 20. Blyth/ Snowtown started well with accurate passing and strong leading. Min/Man settled and demonstrated player versatility. Caitlyn and Jessica shot well. BS persisted with Natalie Cocks and Sarah Weepers combining well in the goal ring and mid-courters, Sharna Kotz and Mikayla Kennett pressing.
J2: Min/Man 17 d Blyth/Snowtown 12. The first quarter was a good even contest between both teams with tight defence from Jessica Lloyd and Lucy Pratt kept Min/Man's shooting down. The second quarter saw accurate shooting from Min/Man's Victoria Howard and Lucy Hall and their lead stretched to 6 at half time. In the third quarter good accurate shooting from Min/Man saw a very fast pace game. BS shooting improved as did their defence. In the fourth quarter both teams defending well. BS outscored Min/Man but were beaten by time.
J3: Blyth/Snowtown v Min/Man. Min/Man defended well in the first quarter with their GA Victoria Howard shooting well to take them to a 4 goal lead. Min/Man continued to dominate in the second quarter stretching their lead by a further 5 goals. Blyth/Snowtown still to score at half time. BS's Tiana Paynter's goal in the third quarter put BS on the score board. Min/Man continued to defend strongly. BS' Tayla Warner scored their second goal in the final quarter. Min/Man continued to shoot well and defend hard. BS tried for all four quarters.
J5: Blyth/Snowtown v Min/Man. Well done to Blyth/Snowtown and Min/Man on a great game. BS tried very hard for the 1 goal but Min/Man was too experienced.
