Sun shines on St Joseph's

7/05/2008 11:31:00 AM
A sunny day last Tuesday gave St Joseph’s students something to smile about.

Sports day was completed after a cancellation last term due to unprevailing weather.

Although the ground was damp and slippery, students enjoyed the fine day and competed strongly.

Once the games were finished the results were posted with a tie between Lennon (red) and Cleary (green) in the championship events.

MacKillop (blue) won the tabloid events with Lennon winning the team games. When it came to the presentation of the overall shield students were anxious to see who had won.

House captains of Lennon, Jake Schmidt and Darcy Jenner were proud to hear their team had won the overall shield.
