Four children have been charged after they pushed a woman to the ground and robbed her Brisbane home, police say.

The four juveniles knocked on the door of the house in Narraport Crescent in Beenleigh in Brisbane's southeast, about 5pm (AEST) yesterday, and pushed the 47-year-old occupant over as they entered the house.

The woman was pinned to the ground as members of the group removed a number of items from the home and then fled.

They were detained by police a short time later, and each charged with burglary with violence, stealing and deprivation of liberty.

Bail has been refused and they will appear in Beenleigh Children's Court tomorrow.
